Praveen & Swarna Kumar grew up helping on their family farm in South India and to this day they import the spices they need to create authentic Indian food from their Family farms back home. Praveen’s career within the hospitality industry has seen him travel across continents, working in some of the world’s most prestigious five-star establishments before settling in Perth, Scotland.
The couple’s city centre Tabla Restaurant is Perth’s only rosette standard Indian eatery and is a popular choice for locals and visitors alike.
Most importantly though, Praveen & Swarna are passionate and inspirational chefs, with a genuine love for the dishes he creates and the ingredients they use. They will draw you into their world of spices and authentic methods, teaching you how to embrace the very simple act of preparing and eating delicious Indian food.
